Santorini - Part Two

Nothing beats waking up to clear skies, sea breeze and being in kimonos…

...As well as a breakfast for a Queen (and KingJ)

After wiping our plates clean we decided to go on a little adventure around Santorini. So we hired a quadbike and set off to explore the mountain tops and famous beaches. We travelled through miles of barren land with unbelievable views and eventually came to Perissa beach, also known as the black beach. We dipped in the sea and buried our feet in the sand before having a big lunch and getting a little tipsy whilst playing cards (kalooki - of course I won!)

Our last day had arrived and our concerige told us a lovely way to finish our trip would be to go to Oia. Oia is a classy, more calm village in Santorini, it's at the very top of the island, it's views are on par with Fira but the resturants and boutiques are more up market. Unfortuantly for my boyfriend he couldn't get a Gyros up there! It also has a little fishing harbour, Amoudi Bay, which is full of little Fish Tavernas and you can have a little swim too!

We finished our time in Santorini watching the sunset and with a lovely diner, as sad as I was to leave we are now popping just round the corner to Mykonos for a couple of nights!
Vrooomm vroom toott tooot!

Santorini is without a doubt the most beautiful place I have ever been and definitely will be returning.
