This weekend saw the transformation of the old North London mail centre. Abandoned and in ruins it was transformed to house London's finest street food vendors and top restaurants. Hosted by the great FEAST and held in a top secret location it was a little unconventional and quirky.
Scaffolding, long banqueting tables and huge cozy pillows to jump/sit on.
Whilst foodies and a few elves huddled round the warehouse chatting and eating away listening to live jolly music and getting into the festive spirit.
So now for the most important part, the food.
A few of the line up and some of my personal favourites included: Mishkins, Big Apple Hot Dogs, Lucky Chip, Yum Bun and Pizza Pilgrims.
But there were many greats.
We opted for the Margherita.
Anna Maes pimped up Mac 'n' Cheese cooked and served in the hugest iron skillets.
And many more...
Including lots for those dessert lovers and those with sweet tooth's (like myself). The best meringues by Meringue Girls, I brought a few to take home too! Chewy, soft, creamy they literally melt in the mouth.
The apple crumble was a dream meringues with soft hot apples and crumble covered in custard.
A huge recommendation.
